After
contemplating the brief she was working to, Dominika settled on
the idea of an arch. "The Romans are famous for their arches.
I think there not any in Caerleon... but there will be now."
The curves in the top were originally based on the form of a shield,
but as she worked on them her thoughts turned more to the Sun.
However some children from one of the visiting school parties
were reminded of a rainbow. "It's up to the viewer really,"
she told us.
