Caerleon Arts Festival 2009 - July 10th to July 19th

The 2009 Sculpture Symposium took place in the Hanbury Field Friday 17th, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of July. Caerleon Arts Festival had seen all six sculptors in earlier years when the themes included the Romans and Britons, King Arthur, the River Usk and Recycling.

For 2009 the organisers chose SHEEP as the inspiration for the artists. "A woolly topic," maybe, but think about it... sheep have inspired artists, writers, poets and composers through the ages.
